Brighton and Hove Albion have drawn Arsenal in the fourth round of the FA Cup. After beating Championship rivals Brentford 2-0 on Saturday, the Seagulls will face the Premiership side at The Amex on January 24.
Brighton last faced Arsenal in the fifth round of the FA Cup in January 2013, narrowly losing 3-2. The south coast side appear reinvigorated under new manager Chris Hughton and could give the inconsistent Gunners a run for their money.
Meanwhile Hastings United are struggling to find form under caretaker manager Mark Stapley following the New Years Day resignation of Dom Di Paola.
The Arrows lost to top of the table Burgess Hill Town 2-1 on the weekend, but will face Horsham tomorrow evening who are anchored to the bottom of Ryman League South.
Elsewhere Hastings Athletics Club celebrated it’s best ever result in the Brook-Sussex Cross Country Championships 2015.
The club boasted a top 3 finish in every single race, as well as several individual and team victories on a wet muddy Saturday in Bexhill.
