Hastings police have donated £250 to a local pop in centre. The money has been used to help fund the cost of lowering their kitchen counter, in order for disabled people to gain easier access to their refreshments. Chairman Vic Lavender told BBN that everyone who was involved in the cause were very grateful. He also said that he aims to “Provide refreshments not only for disabled people, but for the elderly too”. The donation came as a surprise to the Pop in centre, after a policewoman told them that the local police raised the money for their cause.
