The National Student Survey (NSS) hit universities across the UK this month with the aim of gathering feedback from third year students.

Over 2 million students have taken part in the survey since it's launch in 2005 and the results are publicly available on Unistats.

Joanna Macdonnell, Principal Lecturer at the University of Brighton, said, "Overall satisfaction is what the overriding headline is.

"(The survey) gives students a voice and lets us really see what's really going on inside the courses."

The survey covers the following areas:

  • Quality of teaching on the course
  • Assessments and feedback
  • Academic support
  • Organisation and management
  • Learning resources
  • Personal development

The deadline for NSS 2015 is April 30th.
