People Worry About Changing Careers

The biggest reasons for not wanting to take the plunge, according to the survey is because people are afraid to change in case of potential failure in a new job, others not wanting to retrain for an alternate career and others feeling as if they have left education underprepared for the professional world and therefore become stuck in their job.

The factors that contribute towards the statistics are arguably a surprise. With the rise in careers support and advice centres across the country, and particularly in Higher Education, the growing support that is thrust upon undergraduates before they graduate.

Reports have been previously released where it's been revealed Brits are unhappy in their work, and financial security has become more of a factor rather than enjoyment of the job.
