Home Secretary, Amber Rudd will be joining other members of parliament at 2:30pm today to debate on the migrant crisis in Calais.


The move out of 5000 refugees in Calais Jungle, began last Monday. French authorities have stated that Paris Central camps have flooded with migrants since the evacuation.

 Hastings MP Amber Rudd, has released a statement saying that it is “our priorities to keep our border secure, to tackle the criminal gangs that profit from the lives of the vulnerable, and ensure those in the camp in need of protection are moved to places of safety.”

 Hastings borough council have already pledge to take in 100 migrants to the local town and are encouraging home owners to come forward with property space .
