A group of Hastings amateur performers gathered at Priory Square this Saturday to give a blood-curling performance of “Thriller”, kicking off Halloween weekend to a spooktacular start. The Halloween hit, made famous by Michael Jackson in 1982 has since seen records sales soar, selling 62 million copies worldwide.

The group of woman concealed their identities with prosthetic wounds and fake blood galore, mimicking the famous zombie dance with passion, and were watched on by a crowd of cheering Hastonians.

The performance was one of many events to take place over the weekend, with celebrations concluding with a zombie-themed club night “Decontamination Zone B” at Brass Monkey this evening.
