In a modern music world where social media is the most effective and efficient way to reach an audience, it's easy to question the motive behind advertising through street posters.

Along with the music it presents, a street poster is art in itself. Before the internet, advertising could only be done through posters and flyers therefore posters had to speak to people solely through the artwork.

Posters don't make sense in terms of time and money, with it being so simple to post anything on social media for all to see without needing to print and put up the posters.

Whilst street posters might not be for everyone, there's something admirable about music culture keeping some of it's roots.
