Kane was the last man to lead Hastings to promotion in the Ryman Football League in 2007. He’s expected to become part of Terry White’s managerial staff.
After Monday’s game against Burgess Hill, current manager Terry White told the Hastings Observer: I’ve spoken to Nigel Kane, who all things being equal, is going to come in and help Ben and I. I’ve worked with him before an I’ve managed him. He does a good job. He’s very analytical, and he’s different to Ben and I.”
Nigel Kane is renown for his vast knowledge of opposing teams, he was a player for Hastings before eventually becoming Pat Brown’s second hand man in 2005.
