Hastings United Football Club are back in action tonight with a home cup clash against Merstham. Chris Agutter’s side will want to continue from last round’s 9-2 victory. A win for the Sussex side would see them book a place in the last 16 against Worthing or Tonbridge Angels. Kick off at The Pilot Field is 7:45pm.

Bexhill United boss, Ryan Light, celebrated his 100th game in charge with a 4-0 Victory on Monday night. Light’s side beat Midhurst & Easebourne to claim top spot in the Southern Combination League division one. The Sussex side are enjoying their highest position in nearly 25 years.

Sussex footballer, Tommy Block heads for a trial with Scottish Premiership team, Hibernian. The 18-year-old midfielder will have a week to impress coaching staff in Scotland. Hibernian are currently 8th in the Scottish Premiership.

Sussex Cricketer, Danni Wyatt, has become only the 4th English Woman to reach 1,000 international T20 runs.  Wyatt reached the milestone in England’s latest world cup game in the Caribbean. The 27-year-old full balls and chased down a target of 86. England play again on Sunday where they face the West Indies.
